Wasn't it posted a while back that Moore had angered WWE management in some way? Could this explain the de-pushing of his character?

Actually that did happen, at least according to the IWC. As the story goes, Moore had a match at a house show that was very poorly received. This caused him to take the Mike and proclaim that he wasn't wrestling to "please the internet." Vince McMahon was so upset about this that he sent word to the ring to switch the finish so that Shannon lost. I hate to see him squashed also. I liked his potential and I think he and CM could have had a great program. Other than that, awesome show. They were performing in the garden and they acted like it.
