WWE Takes On E-Federations.

PWInsider.com is reporting that many "e-federations", which are online fanatasy leagues about pro wrestling, have been receiving legal letters from World Wrestling Entertainment in regards to copyright infringement. A good portion of the complaints have to do with the use of WWE owned images and videos.

Cyber Sunday Review -- 11/05/06

It's a special audio post in FullyKrazy-land. It's special because it's the Cyber Sunday review. It's special because a couple of 50-year-olds won the tag titles. It's special because DJ Fully lied and actually got the pay-per-view. And it's special because something happened on this site that hasn't in ages. There's only one way to find out what. Listen, then LEAVE YOUR COMMENTS ON CYBER SUNDAY AND WHERE WE GO FROM HERE!

Cyber Sunday Preview -- 11/05/06

Forget Taboo...this year, WWE goes Cyber! And it's not Tuesday anymore either. Who in their right mind thought people would go for a Tuesday pay-per-view? Then again, who in their right mind will go for this one? That's DJ Fully's mindset. He won't be getting Cyber Sunday, but he definitely has an opinion or two on the card. Listen to his predictions, then LEAVE YOUR COMMENTS ON THE SHOW!

NEWS -- ECW Elimination Chamber Match Announced

WWE.com is reporting that at a show in Wisconsin, ECW representative Paul Heyman announced to the crowd that the December to Dismember pay-per-view will be main evented by six men in an Extreme Elimination Chamber Match.

The Big Show will defend the ECW Title against Rob Van Dam and four other men. Those participants will be determined in qualifying matches in the coming weeks on the ECW show on Sci-Fi. The first match will happen this Tuesday, according to the article.

In a side note, a full story has appeared on WWE.com confirming that SmackDown and ECW will hold joint house shows starting at the end of December. According to the article, "sources" say WWE officials have been surprised by low attendance at ECW-only house shows.

NEWS -- Christian Cage vs. Rhino Match to Take Place on iMPACT!

Just for clarification based on poorly detailed reviews on other sites for TNA's latest episode of iMPACT, the announced Barbed Wire Steel Cage Match between Christian Cage and Rhino will take place when TNA moves to primetime on Spike TV November 16, NOT at the Genesis pay per view as has been widely reported on other sites.

The only announced match for Genesis is Kurt Angle vs. Samoa Joe.

NEWS -- WWE Ends ECW's Separate House Shows

Wrestleview.com is quoting The Wrestling Observer in reporting that WWE has decided to end their ECW house shows once the month of November is done. House show dates for December and January had been set and posted at both WWE.com and ECW.com, but have since been removed with no reason given.

ECW has their live television shows at the same venue that the SmackDown brand tapes their Friday shows. Otherwise, ECW had been separate of the other two WWE brands.

NEWS -- Corporal Kirchner Alive; WWE.com Reported Him Dead

In a bizarre twist, the man who portrayed Corporal Kirchner in then-WWF is, in fact, alive, despite what WWE.com reported.

The World Wrestling Entertainment homepage listed a story that a man named Thomas Spear had portrayed the patriotic character, and that Spear had passed away of natural causes. In fact, a gentleman by the name of Mike Kirchner had portrayed the character, and Kirchner is alive, well, and perplexed by the announcement of his death.

SLAM Sports in Canada broke the story. That article can be read at this link. WWE.com has removed the story of Corporal Kirchner's death, but has not retracted their earlier story as of 6:25 PM CT Saturday.

NEWS -- Francine, Gunner Scott Released From WWE.

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that that Francine's release from the company was actually expected for quite some time. According to reports, Vince McMahon never liked her look, but they needed her for ECW House Show events for Bikini Contests with Kelly Kelly. When Trinity returned to the company following an injury, it reportedly sealed Francine's fate with WWE.

PWInsider.com is reporting that Gunner Scott (aka Brent Albright) was released today by World Wrestling Entertainment.

There remains no details as to why he was released, although he was sent back to Ohio Valley Wrestling after appearing on the Smackdown brand this summer when he was told his character was not "connecting with the audience." We hope to have more on this soon.

In their apology for showing William Regal's penis during a lockerroom scene last night at No Mercy, WWE.com had the following lines:

NEWS -- Former WWE Wrestler Rikishi Arrested

Wrestleview.com has reported the following:

The following was issued by the United States Marshals Service yesterday in regards to the arrest of former WWE star Rikishi:

U.S. Marshals Task Force Arrests Professional Wrestler for Civil Contempt. Pensacola, FL - The United States Marshals North Florida Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Solafa Fatu Jr., aka “Rakishi”, at 12 noon today after a vehicle stop on Highway 98 near the Naval Hospital. The 41 year old, 6 foot 2 inch, 400 pound wrestler was taken into custody without any resistance. A Federal District Judge for the Northern District of Florida issued a warrant for his arrest on September 1st of this year, after Fatu failed to appear at a show cause hearing, carrying a charge of civil contempt. Originally, the U.S. Marshals Office in Pensacola repeatedly attempted to locate Fatu to serve him with a civil subpoena but was unable to find him. The Task Force’s investigation eventually led them to discover he was in Italy during that period and touring with a newly formed Italian wrestling organization, the NU-WRESTLING Evolution (NWE). The investigation revealed that it appeared as though Fatu returned several weeks ago. Once the Task Force learned that, they started searching for him again locally. “Despite his size and the persona that goes with his profession, he (Fatu) was a gentleman,” said Marshals spokesman Dominic Guadagnoli.Fatu, who has appeared under numerous other names throughout his career, first came to fame in the 1980’s when he wrestled in the WWF as a part of the Samoan Swat Team. He has wrestled with all of the top names in the sport some such as Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker, Steve Austin and Triple H to name a few. Fatu claims to be related to other famous wrestles such as The Rock, The Tonga Kid, Jimmy Snuka and Yokozuna. Fatu was remanded to Escambia County Jail until his hearing in federal court.
