Well I didn't catch the show because I was making up with my girlfriend who got mad at me in the first place for watching too much wrasslin! So therefore I had to sacrifice the ol' ECW tonight. Save it on DVR for me buddy!

I didn't watch ECW very closely tonight as I was applying for jobs, but I intend to rewatch it later. The opening segment was a little too much of a "sex sells" segment for my taste but I do like the progressing fued between the new guys and the old ECW established. I think whoever was in charge picked good people to work that feud and represent both sides. I agree that Hardcore is a perfect fit for ECW. He and Snow had some great hardcore matches in WWE before that division became a joke and I could see his stiff style fitting in well with ECW. I'd love to see Taz (notice the single "Z") come out of retirement to face him, but I doubt that will happen. I wouldn't put him against RVD in his first feud though, he needs to go over. Rene Dupree's "pretty hardcore boy" gimmick could work well but the only way Stryker could get over is for some "ECW original" to tell him the same story of Dean Douglas and have him slowly evolve into an actual wrestler rather than just a goofy gimmick. I think he has the talent but lacks only the chance. I didn't catch a lot of the CW/CM match but I really want to go back on watch it. I've been studying Brazilian Jiu-jitsu for the past several months and it does seem to have a big influence on Punk's style, which I love. I'm already sick of the vampire gimmick, but at least he isn't an alien. The main event seemed decent, I actually like Sabu blowing spots, it gives his matches believability. Any guy that does the things he does will mess up sometimes and that makes him seem more real.

I missed part of ECW because I was out eating 1/2 price appetizers at Applebee's with my lady. Got back to see CM/CW which I enjoyed very much. I think ECW needs another title, anyone agree with me? TV perhaps? I'm beginning to think that the World Title is more like the TV title as it is defended every week on Sci-Fi. Hardcore is a very good fit for ECW, I agree with that as well. Anyone that knows me knows I don't like Holly, but at least now the wrestling fits his personality. Main event was okay, not really sure why Sabu went ape-shit on Show. Didn't matter though, I was almost asleep anyways. Overall show, I'd give it a B.
SmackDown needs talent... everyone is injured. They need people. Faces or heels... they need them. Instead WWE puts everyone on ECW. What the hell? ECW is a one hour show. You can't dare even use all these guys in a month. Smackdown doesn't have enough guys, so they all work more and get injured more. Fuck it.
